Jamaica, American Bermuda Sloop, 1710

Jamaica was an American Bermuda Sloop built circa 1710. It is typical of the sloops plying the West Indian trade routes during the 18th century. These ships had a reputation for weatherliness and fast sailing. Note the vast spread of canvas.
